Live Webinars in 2020 2 CEs

QUALIFICATIONS: All the LIVE webinars are open to New York State LCSW, LMSW and LMHC clinicians. (See training info and provider id’s at the bottom of this section.)

COURSE COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS:In order to complete the live webinar, you must log in and attend the entire webinar. All live webinars require the completion of a course evaluation and posttest which must be passed with 75% accuracy. A second try is allowed for those who do not achieve 75% the first time. Any further attempts must be authorized after discussion with the CE Director.

NYS Clinicians: Best Practice Trainers, Inc is recognized by the NY State Department of Education  as a CE provider for NYS social workers (#SW-0519) and LMHCs (#MHC-0124) and has provider level approval to offer CEs for live webinars to NYS SWers and LMHCs. Registrants should note that only 1/3 of contact hours needed  for NY LCSWs and LMSWs can come from non-interactive web coursework.

NJ Social Workers: Live webinars have NOT been submitted to ASWB ACE for consideration of individual course approval. All Other Social Workers: Our organization has applied for consideration to become an ASWB ACE provider. See a map showing what jurisdictions accept ACE here.

2020 recorded Webinars

 A link to the webinar will be sent to you by staff to your email address after you register. You will need to complete the course as determined electronically. You will need to complete a course evaluation, and pass the posttest with 75% correct in order to earn a certificate.  If you do not pass the posttest the first time, you will get a second chance to take it. Course completion requirements

To earn CE credit, participants must log in, attend the entire course as determined electronically, complete a course evaluation and a posttest with at least 75% accuracy. If you don’t pass the posttest the first time, a second chance will be given. Further attempts must be authorized by the CE Director. Certificates of completion will be emailed within 10 business days of course completion

Course interaction & system requirements These recorded webinars are self-paced/non-interactive.

System requirements: Operating Systems: Windows XP or higher, MacOS9 or higher, Android 4.0 or higher Internet browser: Internet Explorer 9.0 or higher, Google Chrome, Firefox 10.0 or higher Broadband Internet connections: Cable, High-speed DSL & any other medium that is internet accessible. Media viewing requirements: Adobe Reader, Flash Player, & HTML5

DISABILITIES: For technical difficulties/disabilitiessuch as not having devices with technology which meets operating system requirements, or having difficulty with that technology, paper copies of pretests and posttests can be mailed. For those with hearing difficulties, the courses have a written narrative which may be accessed with the click of a button. For those who are “print-disabled,” the courses are narrated. Other difficulties with technology (can’t open a second window on your device, can’t get access to the training site, can’t remember password, etc.) may be able to be remedied by contacting helpdesk@bestpracticetrainers.org which may be able to give assistance
