Join Dr. Kathryn Krase as she explores ethical concerns often experienced by professionals in practice.

This is a two-and-a-half hour long, beginning to intermediate level, online, self-study, recorded webinar created in November, 2022, for social work and other clinical professionals.

Participants will be able to:

  1. describe the ethical code provisions as they relate to practice with clients/patients at the micro and mezzo levels
  2. describe the professional obligation to keep client information confidential
  3. describe when making a report to child protective services is required by law
  4. describe a framework to assist in the decision-making process when faced with ethical and moral mandated reporting conundrums

Recognized CE provider for NYS Social Workers (# SW-0747) and LMHCs (#MHC-0272) and LMFTs (#MFT-0115) has provider level approval to offer CEs for these recorded webinars to NYS SWers, LMHCs, and LMFTs. Registrants should note that only 1/3 of contact hours needed  for NY LCSWs and LMSWs can come from non-interactive web coursework. Please double check with NYSED; restrictions may have changed during COVID.
